1984年にタミヤから発売された1/350米海軍現用艦載機セット。この後に発売予定となっていた1/350空母エンタープライズのアクセサリーとして先行発売されたものです。

私はエンタープライズは買いませんでしたが(笑)、このセットはすぐに買いました。ニチモの1/300を見慣れていたので随分小さく感じましたが、ニチモのはるか上を行き、アウトラインも雰囲気も抜群です。F-14など、展開された主翼パーツまでセットされていて驚きました。SH-3は折りたたんだローターも付いています。

ところが、脚はただの棒だし、アクセサリ－は一切付いていないし、下腹部に肉抜き開口があるし、結構残念でした。

燃料タンクやミサイルの類を付けてくれたら・・・　ランナーを削り出して小さいタンクを作るのは結構大変なんです。

アウトラインが抜群なので、丁寧に塗装すると小さいながら大変見栄えがします。今なお店頭で購入可能ですが、タミヤさんには次なる現用空母の開発と艦載機のアップデートをして頂きたいものです。

私は今のところ、A-6とS-3とSH-3のみ製作しています。いずれ他の機種も増やしたいと考えています。

1/350 US NAVY AIRCRAFT SET released in 1984 from Tamiya. Prior to being released as an accessory of 1/350 aircraft carrier enterprise which was scheduled to be released after this.

I did'nt buy the enterprise, I bought this set at once. I was used to 1/300 of Nichimo, so I felt quite small, but Its better than Nichimo, outline and atmosphere are outstanding. I was surprised that even the main wing parts that were deployed, such as F - 14, were set. SH - 3 also has a folded rotor.
 

But, the legs are just sticks, and no accessories - not attached at all, and there is a opening in under fuselage and it was quite regrettable. I hope Tamiya attach something like a fuel tank or missile ... It is quite tough to cut a runner and make a small tank.

Because the outline is outstanding, it looks very small but beautiful when painted carefully. Although it is still possible to get it at the shop now, we would like Tamiya to develop the next active aircraft carrier and update the shipboard.

For now I am only making A-6, S-3 and SH-3. I would like to increase the number of other models.
